Time’s Tempo

They said: “No need to rush,
We’ve got all the time.”
But do we truly?

I felt the pressure, the hurry,
What if my folks don’t witness my dreams?
I dread that thought,
They’re aging fast,
Yet I still feel lost in this vast world.

Do I genuinely have time left?
Can I simply halt, and catch my breath?
Must we sprint through life?

But amidst the chaos and haste,
I’ll carve my path, embracing the journey’s pace.
For in each moment, there’s a chance to thrive,
To savor life’s beauty, to feel alive.
